Citrix Engineer opportunity based in Uxbridge offering a salary of c£45k plus benefits

Role:
Scope, lead and deliver of projects, ensuring compliance to client expectation.
Thorough working knowledge of recent and current releases of Microsoft Windows Server and Exchange Server products.
Thorough working knowledge of recent and current releases of Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop products
Demonstrate proven knowledge to install, configure, troubleshoot and support SAN storage systems
Experience delivering network related technology solutions in a client facing environment
To consult with the Technical Services Manager, the customer and the sales team to agree a clear scope of work.
Manage and deliver the implementation process from the point the customer places the order, and the Systems Integration team have provided the necessary parts, equipment, software and licences to a successful deployment conclusion.
Create and maintain project related documentation, ensuring that accurate information is always available to the technical team
Build and maintain technical relationships with clients to maximise opportunities
Propose the most efficient and effective means to solve business and technical problems through the use of best in breed business tools, such as data migrations, virtualisation, upgrades, and new deployments
Develop and implement methodologies, tools and scripts to speed-up deployment and integration
Full customer engagement around the technical solution including challenging and validating the customer requirements with regards to "needs" versus "wants".
Working with the Pre-Sales and Technical functions to support, validate and help deliver client presentations, workshops and responses to technical and business enquiries.
Ability to identify and mitigate technical risks when changes are made to a client's environment.
Responding to and resolving support calls along with agreed SLA
Thorough working knowledge to assemble, configure and install major brand server hardware.
Ability to investigate, diagnose and troubleshoot a wide variety of problems, with network and computer hardware; device driver, operating system and application server software.
Support of internal systems, infrastructure and users

Evaluating, testing and recommending of new technologies and systems
Demonstrate working knowledge of Project Management responsibilities
Working knowledge to install, configure, troubleshoot and support of storage technologies
Working knowledge to configure and install network hardware
Provide verbal and written presentations, demonstrations and reports both internally and client facing
An adaptable and flexible approach to work and travel
Gain and maintain professional accreditations through training as defined by management
Excellent communicator - written and verbal
